Objective: to promote citizen engagement in the governance of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies through dialogue, consultation, and transnational cooperation, in order to strengthen democratic resilience, protect fundamental rights, and develop local policies based on transparency and accountability.
Impact: increased civic participation in decision-making processes regarding the use of emerging technologies, strengthened trust in public institutions, the development of a Citizen’s Guide on Technology and Rights, as well as public policy recommendations for ethical and citizen-centered governance.
